Core Competency Requirements

Diploma in Animation or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience, or

Bachelor's degree in Animation or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Strong understanding of creature anatomy, biomechanics, locomotion, and realistic creature animation.

Proficient in Autodesk Maya.

Ability to explain creature movement and mechanics clearly in a practical learning environment.

Experience in quadruped animation is essential. Experience in fantasy creature animation and creature facial performance is an added advantage.

Job Scope

Deliver onsite lectures and practical classes in Creature Animation.

Teach creature locomotion, realistic movement, and animation mechanics.

Guide students in understanding creature anatomy and translating it into believable animation.

Provide feedback, assessment, and mentorship throughout the semester.

Attend to student inquiries related to subject content outside of class hours (reasonable hours).
