Technician

Reports to: Supervisor/ Assistant Supervisor

Other regular relationships:

• VP/AVP/Manager - Engineering
• Engineering executives / officer
• End users
• Purchasers
• Suppliers

Immediate subordinates:

• Assistant Tradesman / Technician
• General workers

Purpose of job:

In line with company’s cost saving and value adding policy, (1) To operate the Utility Plants and supply quality products / services, or (2) To provide R&M services to end users and maintain good relationships between staff and engineering management.

Principal responsibilities:

• To (1) supply utilities, (2) carry out all types of R&M services (LV&ELV) in the facility, machines and equipment available at the Utility Plants / Hotel Properties in accordance Engineering Integrated Management System requirement
• Record all physical parameters records for the machines and equipment such as working temperature, working pressure etc. at the Utilities Plants
• Carry out the relevant Quality plans and Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintaining IMS documentations
• Ensure efficient and proper use of materials, equipment and machine in order to reduce maintenance costs for the company
• Ensure compliance of authority requirement
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and reduce environmental pollution
• Any other works assigned by Engineering Management from time to time

Qualifications:

• Minimum SPM
• Experienced with minimum 1 year in electrical R&M field
• Any qualification or certificate of competency in electrical field (LV & ELV) is an added bonus.
