We are looking for a skilled SQA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern test automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies, and will be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Create and manage test artifacts such as Test Cases, Test Reports, and functional/business test cases.
- Perform test execution for Smoke, Regression, and Functional testing cycles.
- Develop and run automated tests for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Conduct database testing, API testing, and load/performance testing.
- Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, stakeholders) to align testing with requirements.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior team members when required.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQA Automation.
- Strong 3 years of hands-on experience with Playwright is mandatory.
- Solid expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with mobile test automation using Appium.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and programming in Java, JavaScript, or Python (at least one is mandatory).
- Proven experience in database testing, including writing SQL queries.
- Strong hands-on experience in API testing using Postman.
- Hands-on experience with load and performance testing using JMeter, including integration with automation workflows.
- Familiarity with TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, and Cucumber.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- ISTQB certification is a plus (not mandatory).
