Job Responsibilities:

·       Design Translation

o   Interpret designers’ product layouts into clear, actionable production instructions.

o   Ensure design intent is preserved while adapting to manufacturing feasibility

·       Problem-Solving & Innovation

o   Anticipate potential production issues and propose practical solutions before factory feedback

o   Suggest innovative methods or alternatives when factories resist new approaches

o   Encourage factories to adopt improvements rather than defaulting to “safe” or repetitive methods

·       Trend & Data Analysis

o   Analyze market, customer, and sales data to define product strategy, positioning, and range architecture for seasons or cycles.

o   Track product performance and production efficiency

o   Provide feedback to designers and merchandisers on feasibility, cost implications and innovation opportunities

·       Cross-Functional Collaboration

o   Work closely with Creative Team to understand design concepts.

o   Partner with Merchandising Manager to align execution with timelines and supplier capacity.

·       Planning & Coordination

o   Develop production schedules that integrate creative timelines, merchandising requirements and supplier lead times

o   Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure timely launches

Requirements:

·       Degree holder or Diploma graduate in Business Administration, Design, or a related field

·       Minimum 8-year experience in design industry, merchandising or a related role, preferably in premium house

·       Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and retail merchandising strategies

·       Excellent analytical skills to evaluate market trends, customer preferences and sales data

·       Good communication skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and production

·       Proficiency communication of Mandarin and English

·       Self-motivated, responsible and work independent

·       Able to meet tight deadline and work under pressure
