Education

  • Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Degree program in:
    • Human Resource Management
    • Business Administration
    • Psychology
    • Management
    • or a related discipline

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Desire to learn and a proactive mindset
  • Effective organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Canva, Google Workspace, or HR software is an advantage.

 

Internship Duration

  • Preferred duration of at least 3 months

Responsibilities

Role Summary

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team in daily HR operations, recruitment activities, employee engagement initiatives, payroll administration, and HR documentation. This internship provides hands-on exposure to various HR functions within a fast-paced multi-industry environment.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support

  • Assist in job postings on recruitment platforms and social media. 
  • Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates. 
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication. 
  • Support onboarding preparation for new joiners. 
  • Maintain recruitment tracker and candidate database. 

2. HR Administration

  • Assist in preparing HR documents: 
    • Offer letters 
    • Confirmation letters  
    • Employee filing 
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR database. 
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing system. 

3. Payroll & Attendance Support

  • Assist in attendance checking and leave monitoring. 
  • Support payroll preparation: 
    • Claims 
    • OT records 
    • Leave records 
  • Assist in compiling payroll supporting documents. 

4. Employee Engagement

  • Support planning and execution of: 
    • Team bonding activities 
    • Employee engagement programs 
    • Staff events and celebrations 
  • Assist in employee surveys and feedback collection. 

5. Ad-hoc HR Projects

  • Support HR improvement projects and initiatives. 
  • Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by the HR team.
