Job Title: Health, Safety & Admin Manager – Construction
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead both administration and safety management across our construction projects. This role combines office administration oversight with on-site safety leadership, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative leadership: Oversee admin team, streamline SOPs, policies, and office processes.
- Safety management: Develop and enforce safety policies, conduct audits, risk assessments, and site inspections.
- Regulatory compliance: Liaise with government bodies, manage permits/licenses, and ensure adherence to legal standards.
- Incident response: Investigate accidents/near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Training & awareness: Conduct safety inductions, emergency drills, and promote workplace safety culture.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- Certifications: NEBOSH, OSHA, CSP, Green Book preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in safety management within construction projects.
- Skills: Strong planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; proven record in accident reduction and project safety compliance.
