Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Merchandiser to serve as the critical hub of our supply chain communication. In this role, you will be responsible for managing production orders, calculating material requirements, and coordinating closely with both our local Malaysian factories and our operations team in China. Due to the requirement to communicate seamlessly with our China-based supply chain partners, fluency in Mandarin is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Organize, process, and track production orders from start to finish.
• Accurately calculate, verify, and manage fabric and accessory/trim requirements for production.
• Serve as the primary liaison between local Malaysian factories and the China-based procurement/production teams to ensure production schedules are met.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and resolve shipment or quality issues proactively.

Requirements

• Required language(s): Mandarin (to liaise with China-based teams), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proven experience as an Apparel Merchandiser, Coordinator, or in a similar role within the garment/textile industry.
• Familiarity with garment production workflows, fabrics, and apparel trade processes.
• Strong numerical logic, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
