Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Event Executive based in Penang, Malaysia. The Event Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events at the resort. Responsibilities include liaising with clients to understand their event requirements, managing budgets, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring seamless event execution. The role also involves supporting the Sales and Events team on the day-to-day needs and maintain all the system related to the operation.

Qualifications

Supporting the Event and Sales team on day to day tasks related to Loyalty programmes, Event management system and other related tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, teams, and vendors effectively.
• Event planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage end-to-end event execution
• Proficiency in time management, organization, and problem-solving under tight deadlines.
• Customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• High attention to detail and ability to oversee all aspects of event logistics.
• Experience with event management tools or software is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; additional proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
