Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Semporna for the Pre-opening Team at Meili Resort Hotel. Team members will be responsible for preparing the resort for its opening by participating in operations setup, staff coordination, facilities readiness, and service planning. Tasks will also include assisting in department-specific preparations, ensuring alignment with the resort’s standards, and collaborating with various teams to create exceptional guest experiences. Additional responsibilities may involve contributing to operational workflows, coordinating logistics, and providing hands-on support across various functions.


Qualifications

  • Hospitality Skills: Experience in luxury hotel pre-opening, guest service excellence, and front-of-house operations.
  • Operations Skills: Strong understanding of facilities setup, operational planning, and logistics coordination.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills, team collaboration experience, and ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Time Management and Problem-Solving: Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and address challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities during high-pressure scenarios.
  • Knowledge of the local area and marine tourism is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
