Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and proactive Housekeeping Assistant to support the Executive in overseeing outsourced housekeeping and linen services within the hospital. The role involves assisting in daily operational coordination, service monitoring, quality inspections, and ensuring cleanliness and linen standards are consistently maintained across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive in monitoring outsourced housekeeping and linen service providers.
- Conduct routine inspections of wards, clinics, public areas, and other hospital facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Monitor linen supply, collection, distribution, and stock levels to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding housekeeping or linen-related issues.
- Follow up on complaints, service deficiencies, and corrective actions with outsourced service providers.
- Maintain records, inspection checklists, reports, and documentation related to housekeeping and linen services.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and safety requirements.
- Assist in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and operational support activities.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in housekeeping, facility services, hospital support services, or vendor coordination is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
