Job Description

Responsibilities

Start date: 1 October 2026 or sooner

Position: Associate, Finance

We are looking for a part-time Finance Associate for the Asia region to be based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Company Finance and Reporting (Primary Focus)

  • Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes for the Fund’s holding companies and portfolio companies.
  • Review monthly and quarterly management accounts, balance-sheet reconciliations, cash-flow reports and supporting schedules.
  • Support project accounting activities, including reviewing project expenditure, capital expenditure, development costs, construction costs and funding requirements.
Fund Accounting and Audit Support

  • Coordinate the preparation and completion of annual audited or unaudited financial statements for holding companies and portfolio companies.
  • Maintain reporting schedules and supporting documentation for consolidation, investment valuation and fund-level reporting purposes.
  • Assist with quarterly investor and management reporting by providing accurate portfolio-company financial updates and analysis.
Treasury, Payments and Financial Controls

  • Coordinate payment approval workflows and ensure compliance with delegated authority limits and internal control requirements.
  • Assist with intercompany funding, shareholder loans, capital contributions and other treasury activities.
  • Maintain appropriate finance records, approval documentation and audit trails.
Tax, Regulatory and Corporate Compliance

  • Coordinate with external tax advisers and accounting service providers to ensure timely completion of corporate income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax and other applicable tax filings.
  • Work with corporate secretaries and legal advisers on corporate filings, board resolutions, capital changes and other company-secretarial matters.
  • Maintain compliance calendars and monitor statutory, tax, audit and regulatory deadlines.
Your profile:
Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, fund accounting, investment operations, financial reporting or a related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification, or progress towards a qualification such as CA, CPA or ACCA, would be advantageous.
