The Opportunity
At The Skillvantage Hub LLP, we partner with Singapore’s Ministry of Education (MOE) schools to deliver exceptional, pedagogically sound Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). We are currently looking for highly qualified Guitar Instructors to join our elite instructor pool to be placed in various school CCA programs across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
As a placed instructor in our pool, your duties will include:
Curriculum Design: Designing and submitting a 30-week training plan for recreational students and a 24-week plan for competitive students. And sometime Ad-Hoc design for shorter duration program too.
Differentiated Instruction: Delivering instruction tailored to varying musical ability levels and instrumental sections across the Primary, Secondary and JC cohorts.
Performance Management: Providing artistic direction, selecting copyright-compliant sheet music, and conducting students during public performances and official competitions.
Holistic Education: Partnering with the teachers-in-charge to integrate life skills and self-discipline into regular practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
To qualify for our elite instructor pool, you must meet the following criteria:
MOE Registration: All Instructors must be actively registered with the Ministry of Education.
Music Qualifications (Main Instructor): Minimum ABRSM / Trinity Guildhall Grade 5 in music theory (or equivalent) and Grade 8 in practical (or equivalent).
Music Qualifications (Second Instructor): Minimum ABRSM / Trinity Guildhall Grade 5 in music theory (or equivalent) and Grade 5 in practical (or equivalent).
Experience: All Instructors shall have at least 3 years of coaching experience in Guitar Ensemble.
Right to Work: If the Instructor is not a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, the Instructor must possess a valid Employment Pass.
