Kenko Academy is looking for an organized, personable, and multi-skilled individual to join our team as Administrator cum ACLP Trainer. This is a hybrid role combining front-of-house administrative duties with hands-on training delivery across our Progressive Wage Model (PWM) Food Services, PWM Retail, Cybersecurity and Awareness, and Baking and Culinary courses.
Job Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Manage day-to-day front desk and office operations, including greeting visitors, students, and corporate clients
- Handle enrolment, registration, and scheduling of courses across all training areas
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and course completion tracking (including SkillsFuture/WSQ documentation where applicable)
- Process payments, invoices, grant claims, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Respond to phone, email, and walk-in enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate class timetables, venues, and trainer schedules across multiple course tracks
- Order and manage training/office supplies, including materials for baking and culinary practical sessions
- Support marketing efforts such as social media updates, promotional materials, and course open-house events
- Liaise with vendors, corporate clients, and regulatory/accreditation bodies (e.g. SSG, WSQ) as needed
- Assist management with reports, documentation, and general administrative support
ACLP Trainer Duties
- Plan, prepare, and deliver training for one or more of the following: PWM Food Services, PWM Retail, Cybersecurity and Awareness, and Baking and Culinary courses
- Adapt delivery style and content to suit adult learners from diverse backgrounds and industries
- Conduct practical/hands-on sessions (e.g. baking demonstrations, retail service simulations, cybersecurity awareness workshops) as relevant to assigned modules
- Assess participants' competency and provide constructive, actionable feedback
- Maintain training records, attendance, and assessment documentation in compliance with ACLP/WSQ requirements
- Ensure a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and food safety practices for culinary sessions
- Stay current with ACLP certification standards, PWM curriculum updates, and emerging cybersecurity trends; renew credentials as required
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training materials, case studies, and course content
- Communicate with learners and corporate sponsors on progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level / Diploma or equivalent; relevant industry certifications an advantage
- Certified or eligible to be certified as an ACLP Trainer (training/certification support may be provided)
- Subject matter experience or qualifications in one or more of: food services, retail operations, cybersecurity, or baking/culinary arts
- Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred
- Prior adult training, coaching, or facilitation experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with WSQ/SkillsFuture frameworks and PWM course requirements is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable with basic office/LMS software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with adult learners and corporate stakeholders
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask across administrative and training duties
- Positive, patient, and approachable demeanor
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends/evenings, for training sessions and practical classes
- A team player who is proactive and takes initiative
