World Scientific Education (WS Education) is a children's publishing house based in Singapore, focusing on publishing resources for 3-8 years old and 6-12 years old. WS Education is seeking a Marketing intern to join our team. The successful candidate will have hands-on exposure to a variety of marketing campaigns through social media, direct marketing, media outreach and event organisation. At the end of the programme, the intern will go away with an understanding of how a Children's Books publisher reaches out to and engages its target audience, be it the distributors, bookstores, online booksellers, schools, organisations, parents and children.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Propose engaging and fun posts for the social media calendar
  • Create marketing assets, e.g., videos and static posts for social media, web banners, posters and flyers
  • Provide admin support for marketing & digital marketing
  • Research on influencers and new ways of marketing

Requirements:

  • Technical skills in Canva and Capcut
  • Good command of English and business writing
  • Interest in social media and marketing
  • Interest in children's books and education
  • To bring personal laptop for internship.
