Requirements
- The applicant must hold a diploma in accounting or a higher qualification (such as full or partial professional certification like ACCA), a Bachelor's Degree, or its equivalent.
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is required.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, be industrious, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential.
- Proficient in computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits by preparing work papers, gathering evidence, documenting findings, and drafting financial statements.
- Communicate with clients on all aspects of audit assignments.
- Support the execution of audit procedures under the supervision of senior auditors.
- Participate in the creation of audit working papers and financial statements.
- Carry out substantive testing and analytical procedures to evaluate the accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in preparing tax computations and tax returns for clients.
- Research tax laws and regulations to aid in tax planning efforts.
- Engage with clients to collect necessary information and address audit or tax-related questions.
- Help identify areas for process improvements in the audit and tax departments.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure audits and tax engagements are completed on time
