Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, servicing, tyre servicing, or workshop operations.
Hands-on experience in tyre replacement, tyre inspection, rim handling, tyre pressure checks, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Able to safely operate workshop tools, machinery, and equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and repair tasks.
Good understanding of workshop safety, PPE, tyre handling procedures, and vehicle inspection requirements.
Responsible, physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team, including supporting tyre-related breakdowns when required.
Working Hours: Morning Shift: 7:30am – 7:30pm, or Morning Shift: 8:30am – 8:30pm, or
Afternoon Shift: 12:00pm – 12:00am. & On Sundays, working hours are from 9:00am – 5:30pm.
Responsibilities
To assist in and perform vehicle maintenance, repair, welding, and servicing works in accordance with assigned tasks and work instructions.
To operate and handle workshop tools, machinery, and equipment safely and in accordance with Company procedures.
To assist in inspecting vehicles, equipment, or components before and after repair works to ensure proper workmanship and safety.
To maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the workshop area at all times.
To comply with safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials.
To take proper care of workshop tools, equipment, and Company property and report any damage or malfunction to the supervisor.
To assist in documenting work performed, materials used, and job progress when required.
To follow instructions from supervisors and comply with Company rules, procedures, and workshop guidelines.
To assist in maintaining quality standards and ensuring work is carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
To perform any other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time.
Additional Responsibilities (Tyreman Duties):
To ensure all tyres are properly inspected, replaced, and in good condition prior to PUSPAKOM inspection or repair servicing.
To manage tyre and rim inventory, including stock control, monitoring, and record keeping.
To attend and provide support for all routes involving inside and outside rescue (tyre-related breakdowns) as assigned by the Company.
To ensure proper installation, maintenance, and safe handling of tyres and rims, including checking tyre pressure, condition, and suitability for operation.
