Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Chargeman certificate is an advantage.

2–3 years of experience with facilities systems or in relevant industries, such as manufacturing (PCBA), pharmaceutical, healthcare, or cleanroom environments.

Able to work effectively and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Perform duties and services as directed by the Insulet Facilities Engineering (FE) Department.

Conduct bi-weekly genset test runs, check battery functionality, and inspect relevant systems including:

• HT & LV systems: insulators, lightning arrestors, cables, transformers, isolators, breakers, HT & LT panels, station transformers, CT, PT, battery chargers, battery banks, control room wiring etc.

Manage team attendance and coverage, including absence or vacation requests submitted at least 3 days in advance. Ensure proper coverage and that the replacement person is contactable and available on-site within the required timeframe.

Respond to all job requests within 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on criticality, and complete tasks accordingly. Assist facility technicians and follow up closely.

Support training plans and materials, verifying that activities are performed according to documented work instructions.

Assist with authority and regulatory audits, annual inspections, and statutory license renewals, including DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, SPKA, KPDNKK, and system application licenses.

Knowledge of safety permits and job hazard analyses (JHAs) to ensure the safe execution of projects or maintenance activities and assist the EHSS team.

Assists/support with Solar energy systems and energy efficiency programs.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system failures and other facilities equipment breakdowns.

Response to Energy Commission (ST) authority when required.

Assists & follows up on electrical equipment or system calibration and assists the contractors during on-site electrical activities.

Maintain all electrical panels and plant room equipment.

Remain flexible and ready to carry out new tasks assigned by Insulet Malaysia as required.
