Requirements
Prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for various construction projects, ensuring all materials, labor, and equipment are accounted for.
Conduct thorough cost estimations and feasibility studies, providing clients with reliable budget projections and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
Administer construction contracts, including managing variations, claims, and payments, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
Perform tender evaluations, analyzing bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and selection of qualified parties.
Implement and manage project cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring expenditures and reporting on budget performance.
Apply value engineering principles to optimize project design and construction methods, aiming for cost efficiency without compromising quality or functionality.
Assess and manage project risks related to cost, schedule, and procurement, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential financial impacts.
Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing materials and services, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain a strong understanding of construction law and relevant regulations to ensure all contractual and legal obligations are met.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure alignment on cost objectives and project deliverables.
Utilize relevant software and tools for quantity surveying, cost management, and BoQ preparation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to facilitate smooth project execution.
