Requirements

Qualifications

  • Formal qualifications in an Engineering discipline and/or Project Management.

  • PMP or similar certification is required

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the management of large-scale industrial projects with values over 100 M RM.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in managing projects with differing levels of complexity.

  • Proven leadership skills enabling effective team collaboration

  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and within budget.

  • Clear ability to cooperate effectively with superiors and company management level

  • Ability to comprehend and effectively manage the wider implications of the project for the business unit

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High proficiency in negotiation.

  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Proven ability to contain costs through timely risk management.

  • Proven ability to work within a team setting.

  • Proficient with MS office applications.

  • Superior written and verbal communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery & Integration: Lead planning, execution, and completion of complex special projects in line with the PID project framework.

  • Stakeholder & Communication Management: Ensure continuous alignment and effective communication with internal clients, external partners, and regulatory authorities.

  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce HSSE standards and ensure full compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

  • Time & Cost Control: Manage schedules and budgets, monitor deviations, and implement corrective actions.

  • Contract & Contractor Management: Oversee contracts (including FIDIC-based arrangements), manage claims, resolve conflicts, and ensure contracted outcomes are met.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks early to avoid cost overruns or delays.

  • Governance & Reporting: Provide regular, high-quality progress and performance reporting to management.

  • People Development: Mentor and coach team members, identify capability gaps, and drive structured training and development programs.
