Requirements
Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Baking, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field is preferred.
Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of bakery or food manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of baking processes and food safety practices is an added advantage.
Willing to learn and develop baking skills in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, or food safety requirements is an added advantage.
Able to work independently with guidance and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods while performing manual tasks.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Positive attitude, responsible, disciplined, and eager to learn.
Proactive, supportive, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Dough Preparation & Baking Operations
Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and other bakery mixtures according to approved recipes and production schedules.
Weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients accurately under the guidance of the Superior.
Assist in shaping, proofing, and baking bread, pastries, and other bakery products according to company standards.
Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, proofers, and ovens safely under supervision.
Support daily production activities to ensure products are prepared on time and meet quality requirements.
Product Quality Control
Assist in checking finished products to ensure they meet company standards for appearance, texture, size, and quality.
Report any product defects, damaged ingredients, or quality concerns to the Superior.
Follow established recipes and work instructions to maintain product consistency.
Equipment, Materials & Production Support
Prepare ingredients, tools, equipment, and workstations before production begins.
Clean and maintain bakery equipment, utensils, and work areas after production.
Assist in product preparation, packing, product trials, and other production-related activities as assigned.
Documentation & Production Records
Assist in completing production records, temperature logs, and other required documentation accurately.
Follow all company SOPs, work instructions, and production procedures.
Food Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
Follow GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSMS, and all food safety and hygiene requirements.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, equipment, and production areas at all times.
Practise proper food handling, storage, and personal hygiene in accordance with company standards.
