The Production Assistant supports the manufacturing process by performing production, cleaning, and documentation activities according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. This role ensures that products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

1. Production Operations

• Assist in the preparation, weighing, and dispensing of raw materials according to batch records.

• Operate and assist in the setup, running, and cleaning of production equipments.

• Support packaging operations including labelling, sealing, and visual inspection of products.

• Follow production schedules to achieve daily output targets.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Management from time to time according to operational needs.

2. Quality & Compliance

• Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).

• Ensure adherence to GMP, GDP (Good Documentation Practice), and company quality standards.

• Report any deviations, contamination risks, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.

• Participate in line clearance, in-process checks, and product sampling when required.

3. Safety & Hygiene

• Maintain a clean and controlled work environment in compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and GMP standards.

• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times.

• Follow gowning procedures, hygiene practices, and restricted-area protocols.

• Dispose of waste materials and rejected products as per SOPs.

4. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Accurately record production data, equipment usage, and cleaning logs in real-time.

• Ensure all records are legible, complete, and properly signed/dated.

• Assist in maintaining traceability of materials, labels, and batches.

5. Teamwork & Communication

• Cooperate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Engineering, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth production flow.

• Participate in GMP training sessions, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Equipment & Maintenance Support

• Support preventive maintenance and equipment calibration activities.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned, labeled, and stored appropriately after use.
