JTB Malaysia Sdn Bhd was setup in the mid of 1990 on 5th July in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965. However on August, 1990 JTB Malaysia has renamed the companies name as Japan Travel Bureau (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Japan Travel Bureau (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (JTB Malaysia) was licenced to perform inbound, outbound and ticketing business by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia (formerly known as Ministry of Culture, Arts & Tourism Malaysia). JTB Malaysia also members of several associations such as the International Air Transport Association (“IATA”) and Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (“MATTA”).
As a member of the JTB Corp group of companies, JTB Malaysia were enjoys the global positioning from JTB extensive network and branches around Asia. In Malaysia, JTB Malaysia operates 4 main offices. Kuala Lumpur is being the head office while Penang and Langkawi the branch was operating the northern region and Sabah the branch was operating the easthern sea region.
