How to Check STR Status

To ensure you are eligible for the STR payment or to check the payment status, you can check your STR status through the official Rahmah Cash Contribution portal.

Steps to Check:

  1. Click on the MySTR login link.
  2. Enter the applicant's MyKad number.
  3. Verify the security keyword.

The information displayed will include:

  • Applicant’s name.
  • Applicant’s MyKad number.
  • Application status.
  • Phase 3 payment details (if eligible).

 

Forgot the Password for the STR?

  1. Visit the MYSTR website.
  2. Click "Forgot Password."
  3. Enter your 12-digit MyKad number and click "Check."
  4. Enter your registered email and click "Next."
  5. Verify the security password and click "Yes."
  6. Answer the security questions and click "Next."
  7. Enter a new password and confirm it. Then click "Change Password."
  8. You will receive a notification of a successful password change.

If you forget and fail to answer the security questions three times, your MYSTR ID will be blocked, and you will be allowed to try again after 24 hours. The public should always be cautious of unauthentic links from irresponsible parties regarding information about STR.

 

How to Apply for Rahmah Cash Contribution

If you haven't applied for STR yet, you can still do so. There are two methods to apply for the Rahmah Cash Contribution:

  1. Online application through the official STR Portal.
  2. Physical application by filling out a form and submitting it to:
  • Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL) Office.
  • HASiL Satellite Office.
  • Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) HASiL.

Required Supporting Documents:

  • Applicant: Copy of Marriage Certificate, Spouse’s Death Certificate, Divorce Certificate, or relevant Decree Nisi.
  • Spouse: Copy of identification (MyKad/MyPR/MyKAS) or valid documents.
  • Child: Copy of MyKad/MyKID and Birth Certificate for biological children or Adoption Certificate for adopted children.
