The Sheet Metal Machinist will fabricate, build, and install various types of metal structures and equipment for facility maintenance and installation programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Consults blueprints, work orders, and/or schematics to safely construct specified structure; develops additional sketches if needed.
Selects appropriate material for each job based on the desired or necessary strength.
Cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions.
Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.
Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.
Performs assigned work on assembly lines such as punching holes for screws or bending gutters.
Uses appropriate machinery and software applications to complete assigned jobs.
Coordinates required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.
Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs.
• Responsible for day to day operation of the oil palm plantation or durian trees;
• To supervise, monitor and control of estate operations, including land cleaning works, planting, maintenance, staff and worker’s welfare, as well as meeting MSPO/RSPO requirements;
• Assist in implementation and monitoring of expenses to ensure overall costs are within budget;
• Must be conversant with the budget preparation and account codes;
• Responsible for the coordination and control of maintenance and harvesting operations to maximize the production of fresh fruit bunches (FFB);
• Managing records to ensure Estate’s accurate and up-to-date report on work done;
• To carry out and to ensure good agricultural practices are implemented at all time;
• To perform ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
1. Implement production planning, scheduling of personnel & resources to meet production quality and quantity targets.
2. Supervise day to day on site activities and team of production workers, trouble shoot processing or equipment issues to ensure that timelines, output and quality are not compromised.
3. Maintain, monitor workflow process and facilitate correction.
4. Ensure cleanliness safety and proper waste management.
5. Assist Production Executive and Production Manager in all areas.
Requirements:
1. Prefer 5 years working experience on wood based industry.
2. Experienced in supervising workers.
3. Capable to handle moulder and finger joint machine operation and related machinery.
4. Able to lead a team of 40 pax operator and above.
5. Proactive, Imitative, Responsible and Good Leadership.
They perform manufacturing operations and processes to foods and beverages, perform packaging, operate machines manually or automatically, follow predetermined procedures, and take food safety regulations on board.
