Create logbook for all production workers to track output and productivity.
Work with paint engineer regarding paint mixtures and quality.
Work on chemical composition used in anodizing line to ensure good products.
Educate workers on better manufacturing practices.
Oversee daily production line activities in Surface Treatment.
Manpower control & monitoring.
Out-put monitoring.
5S housekeeping.
Be cost-conscious and avoid all possible wastage.
Rejection issues and monitoring
Process improvement
To look into the process improvement (Man, Machine, method and Material) for repeated orders.
To look into efficiency of moving parts from one location to another without damaging the parts.
To check and ensure all documentation required for ISO Audit are filed properly with correct references and drawings.
To continue improvising on paint process flow chart and educate production workers.
Communications
Handle supplier feedback/inquiries.
Job discussions with supplier.
Job discussions with Sales Manager or Production Manager.
Job discussions with Supervisors and Technician.
Technical support & problem solving
To provide technical advice to Sale department during RFQ stage.
To provide technical support to production.
Monitor the progress of first article (FA) for new product.
To provide technical advice to QA on rework parts.
Training/Supervising
To provide sufficient training and guidance to new comers,
To provide training to operator.
Problem solving
To handle technical problems and solve problems together with shopfloor.
Feedback technical issues to the sales managers, production manager or customers.
Material Review Board (MRB) Meeting
Weekly meeting on MRB.
Handle RMR, RTV on all the rejected parts, finding the root causes and provide corrective and preventive action (CAPA).
Arrange RMR & RTV rework parts.
Supporting Sub-contract machining work
To solve technical issue with sub-contractor if necessary.
To provide technical support to Supply Chain Management.
Other duties & responsibilities
Any other duties that the management may assign from time to time.
