Who We Are:

Dancom, headquartered out of Petaling Jaya, is an enabler of market growth and expansion for premium lifestyle brands. Working alongside brand partners such as Apple, Dyson, Hotlink and JURA, Dancom enables business growth through its combination of end-to-end sales & marketing, retail operations, sales, as well as logistics enablement. This position will see you participate in the shaping of both internal and external brand communications across our diverse brand portfolios. Join our team and create content that moves people.

Why Join Us?

At Dancom, we offer more than just a job. This is a platform for a creator who wants to do meaningful work with premium brands that have genuine story to tell.

Dynamic Working Environment: Join a team that encourages and celebrates creativity, collaboration and a spirit to test and learn.
Career Development Opportunities: We are nothing without our people, and we believe in investing in our talent. As such, we make sure you have access to various programs and career advancement paths, as well as having a voice in having the professional and personal wellbeing path you desire.
Access To Exciting Brand Marketing Opportunities: You’d be part of a larger marketing agenda, shaping the future of some of the country’s most exciting premium brands, and have a stake in its success. Everyone matters here.

What you'll be doing

Own the Content Portfolio: You are accountable for the full content portfolio of your assigned brands — the content you personally shoot and edit, the AI-assisted assets you produce when a live shoot isn’t possible, and the influencer/creator content you help bring in. All of it is judged on the same bar: does it earn attention and represent the brand well.
Content Creation: Conceive, shoot, and edit content for the brands in your portfolio — primarily short-form video (Reels, TikToks, product stories, behind-the-scenes), plus stills and copy, published across social platforms both internally and externally. You don’t wait for a brief; you generate ideas, pitch them, and execute them. When a live shoot in-venue or outdoors isn’t possible or budgeted, you use AI image and video generation tools to keep always-on content flowing without dropping quality.
Influencer & Creator Support: Help shortlist influencers, KOLs, and UGC creators who fit each brand, and support the team in briefing them on deliverables and brand guidelines and coordinating content approvals. Fold their approved content into the same content portfolio you manage — repurposing and scheduling it alongside your own.
Community Management: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community using the determined Brand Voice.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance across the whole content portfolio — your own content and the content produced by influencers and creators alike — and analyse results to optimize strategies and report on the effectiveness of campaigns.
Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to keep the company’s social media presence relevant and effective.
Collaboration: Work with other departments to manage the company’s social platform reputation, coordinate marketing efforts, and ensure brand consistency.
The brands under your care will encompass luxury audio and consumer technology, among others.

What we're looking for

A portfolio or active social presence that demonstrates your creative sensibility and output — this matters far more to us than your degree. Show us what you’ve made.
Hands-on video creation experience: you can shoot, direct, and edit short-form content to a publishable standard. Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent is an advantage. You are comfortable in front of the camera as much as behind it.
Genuine enthusiasm for premium lifestyle products and brands. You don’t need to be told why a Devialet Phantom is different from a generic speaker. This intrinsic brand appreciation translates into content that feels authentic rather than promotional.
Culturally fluent and socially active. You are a native consumer of the platforms you will be creating for — Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn — and can instinctively spot what is resonating in the current moment and why.
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across very different brand contexts — from aspirational consumer brand storytelling to professional corporate communications. These two modes will coexist in this role and you need to be comfortable in both.
Comfortable coordinating with external creators or influencers — helping shortlist potential collaborators, briefing them clearly on brand guidelines and deliverables, and following up to keep content on track. Experience negotiating fees or owning a creator roster is a bonus, not a requirement — this role supports the influencer/creator process, it doesn’t own it end-to-end.
Self-directed and proactively ideas-driven. You do not wait for stories to come to you. You identify opportunities, propose content angles, and take ownership of execution without needing to be managed at every step.
Photography and visual direction skills are a significant advantage. You have a strong visual eye and understand composition, lighting, and aesthetic consistency across a feed.
Comfort using AI image and video generation tools as a production shortcut, not a replacement for creative judgment — you can independently come up with the concept, direct the tool to get there, and build a simple, repeatable process around it to produce brand-consistent visual content without a live shoot. Familiarity with current-generation tools such as image generators (e.g. Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Google Gemini/Nano Banana, Ideogram) and video generators (e.g. Google Veo, Kling, Runway) or their equivalents is an advantage; this space moves fast, so we care more about your ability to learn and adapt than loyalty to any one tool. You can also judge when a generated asset is genuinely publishable versus when it still needs a real photo or video shoot instead.
Familiarity with paid social and digital advertising is an added advantage, though not a prerequisite for this role.

If you have a portfolio, a channel, or even just a camera roll that shows how you see the world — send it. That tells us more than your CV ever will. Apply now to become our next Brand Content Creator.
