Prepare payment vouchers, online payment documentation, and payment schedules for management review and approval.
Act as the maker for online banking transactions, ensuring all payments are accurately prepared and properly supported. Approval and payment release are handled by the Director.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all banking transactions.
Maintain proper and systematic filing of payment documents, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for easy retrieval and reference.
Monitor and maintain records of staff claims, petty cash, reimbursements, and related supporting documents.
Purchase office supplies within the approved budget and maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, and inventory.
Assist in recording daily accounting transactions and maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
Assist in preparing and maintaining the company’s fixed asset register, including asset details, purchases, transfers, disposals, and supporting documentation.
Assist with basic accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software, preferably SQL Accounting, is an added advantage.
Good organizational, administrative, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks within deadlines.
