About Mokara Gymnastics

Mokara Gymnastics is one of Singapore's newest and most innovative gymnastics academies, built with the vision of raising the standard of gymnastics in Singapore.

While coaching is at the heart of what we do, we also believe great design, branding and storytelling are an important part of creating an exceptional experience for every child and family. From merchandise and apparel to social media, events and our facility, we aim to build a brand that children are proud to be part of.

We're looking for a creative designer who wants to be a part of building a brand.

About the Role

We're looking for a recent Polytechnic or University graduate (or current intern) from a Communication Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design or related course to join our marketing team.

You'll work directly with our Senior Marketing Executive to help bring the Mokara brand to life across digital, print, merchandise and events.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a wide variety of creative work and wants to develop their skills across branding, content creation and marketing.

Primary Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Branding

• Design marketing collateral eg. Digital/physical posters, flyers, banners, brochures and promotional materials

• Apply Mokara's brand guidelines consistently across all touchpoints

• Create graphics for social media, website, email campaigns and print

• Design merchandise, apparel, stickers and other branded products

• Develop visual concepts and creative directions for campaigns

• Work with external designers and vendors where required to bring creative ideas to life

Social Media Content Creation

• Design social media graphics and carousel posts

• Film and edit short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

• Assist with content planning and scheduling

• Stay up-to-date with social media/design trends and propose creative content ideas

• Help maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms

Website & Digital Design

• Design webpage layouts and graphics (working alongside developers)

• Update website visuals

• Design EDMs and newsletters

• Create digital assets for marketing campaigns

Creative Project Coordination

• Liaise with printers, merchandise suppliers, photographers, developers and other creative vendors

• Prepare artwork for production

• Ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables

• Can apply an existing brand consistently across different mediums

• Is curious, proactive and enjoys learning new skills

• Is adaptable and comfortable working on a variety of creative projects

• Has good communication skills and enjoys collaborating with different people

• Can balance creativity with attention to detail

Essential Skills/Qualifications

Education

• Diploma in Communication/Graphic Design or similar

Design

• Strong design fundamentals

• Branding and visual identity skills

• Creativity and originality

• Quality of execution

• Versatility across different design projects

Content Creation

• Graphic design for social media

• Basic photography and videography

• Short-form video editing

Software
