Job Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for Facility Management, Building Maintenance and Technical Services.
• Generate own leads through cold calling, WhatsApp, email, networking, referrals and direct prospecting.
• Approach JMB, MC, Property Management Companies, Building Managers, Developers, Commercial Buildings, Factories and Industrial Facilities.
• Identify key decision makers and arrange meetings/site visits.
• Build and maintain a strong database of potential clients.
• Conduct initial client meetings to understand building issues, requirements and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with the technical/operations team for site assessments and proposed solutions.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals and presentations.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects until opportunities are closed.
• Develop relationships with property managers, building managers, consultants and industry contacts.
• Maintain and report weekly sales activities, opportunities and sales pipeline to management.
• Achieve agreed monthly business development and sales targets.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Facility Management, Property Management, Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in Business Development or Sales is preferred.
• Experience in Facility Management, Property Management, Building Maintenance, M&E, Construction or Building Services is a strong advantage.
• Existing network with JMB/MC, Property Managers, Building Managers, Developers or Facility Managers will be an added advantage.
• Confident in cold calling, approaching new clients and attending face-to-face meetings.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work independently and actively generate own leads.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings and site visits.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

You should be comfortable opening new accounts, approaching decision makers, building relationships and developing opportunities from initial contact until contract award.
