We're Hiring | Manager – Contract & Commercial Management

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Position: Manager – Contract & Commercial Management

Contract: 1-Year Contract

Work Mode: On-site

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Contract & Commercial Management to lead contract, commercial, procurement, and project-related activities across renewable energy and power-generation projects.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in contract/commercial management

• Strong experience in EPC/EPCC contract administration and negotiation

• Hands-on experience with Variations, EOT, Claims, Delay/Disruption, Payments, Performance Guarantees and Liquidated Damages

• Experience in Subcontract Management and Dispute Resolution

• Knowledge of FIDIC and international construction contracts is highly desirable

• Experience in Renewable Energy, Power Generation, EPC/EPCC or major infrastructure projects

• Exposure to Solar PV, Hydropower, Biogas/Biomass, BESS or similar projects is preferred

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation and commercial skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Contract & Commercial Management team

Develop commercial, procurement and cost-optimization strategies

Lead end-to-end procurement, supplier sourcing and negotiations

Manage EPC/EPCC contracts, variations, claims, EOTs and commercial matters

Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance

Support project financial analysis, investment calculations and viability assessments

Lead and coordinate project due diligence activities

Support investment approval documentation and post-close project activities

Coordinate with relevant government agencies and stakeholders on project approvals

Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
