Inventory Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to support daily inventory operations, stock monitoring, documentation, and stock control. You will work closely with the Warehouse, Purchasing, Production/Workshop and other departments to ensure accurate inventory records and smooth stock movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and issue incoming materials and stock.
• Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight low-stock items when required.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
• Check and reconcile physical stock against system records.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged or missing items.
• Issue materials to production, workshop, or other departments based on approved requests.
• Ensure materials are properly labelled, organized, and stored.
• Prepare inventory reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Workshop, and other departments on inventory matters.
• Assist in stock take and other inventory control activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow company safety procedures.

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, storekeeping, or stock control is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCount is an added advantage.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Detail-oriented and accurate when handling inventory records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.

Job Details

Location: Berjaya Park, Section 32, Shah Alam
Working Days: Monday – Friday

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
