TECHNICAL ASSISTANT ENGINEERING
Branch at Seksyen 23, Shah Alam

1. Technical Documentation & Administration

• Drawing Control: Manage and maintain the repository of engineering drawings, specifications, CAD files, and technical manuals, ensuring that the latest revisions are used by all relevant departments (Production, Quality, etc.).
• Record Keeping: Prepare, organize, and file technical reports, test data, process control documents, and quality records (e.g., FMEAs, control plans).
• Documentation Formatting: Assist engineers in creating and standardizing work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials for the manufacturing floor.

2. Project & Team Support

• Project Tracking: Track the progress of engineering projects, tooling modifications, or equipment installations, helping to ensure timelines are met.
• Meeting Coordination: Schedule and prepare materials for engineering meetings, take detailed minutes, and follow up on assigned action items.
• Data Entry & Analysis: Input production and quality data into spreadsheets or databases and assist engineers with preliminary data compilation or basic statistical summaries.

3. Manufacturing & Process Assistance

• Materials Coordination: Assist with the ordering, tracking, and staging of materials, components, or test samples required for new product development or process trials.
• Equipment Monitoring: Help monitor the performance of manufacturing equipment or test jigs, reporting any anomalies or potential maintenance needs to the relevant engineer.
• Shop Floor Support: Occasionally visit the manufacturing floor to collect data, take measurements, or observe process trials under the direction of an engineer.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, or any related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, production processes, machinery, and maintenance will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Able to assist engineers in technical documentation, preparation of reports, data collection, and daily engineering activities.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Possess a positive attitude, good teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment and support engineering activities as required.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence and own transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
