About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized O&M Assistant to support our Operation & Maintenance team in managing reports, documentation, data tracking, and coordination for our solar PV projects.
This is primarily an office-based role, with a strong focus on preparing O&M reports, consolidating system performance data, maintaining project records, and following up with engineers and site personnel to ensure information is accurate and submitted on time.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about solar PV systems and gain practical exposure through occasional site visits. Prior solar experience is not required — we value candidates who are willing to learn, take initiative, and develop their technical knowledge within the renewable energy industry.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc O&M reports, including solar PV generation and system performance data.
- Maintain O&M records, trackers, project documentation, checklists, and site records.
- Prepare maintenance, breakdown, inspection, and corrective action reports.
- Assist in tracking preventive and corrective maintenance activities and follow up with site personnel for required information.
- Support customer reports, presentations, and management updates, and coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and customers when required.
- Site Exposure: Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits for practical exposure to solar PV systems. No prior solar experience is required; willingness to learn is important.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with good reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication, follow-up skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in the solar/renewable energy industry and willingness to travel to project sites occasionally.
