Sr Procurement Executive/ Procurement Manager

• Salary: RM5,000 – RM9,000
• Location: Port Klang/ Shah Alam
• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Language: Mandarin, to deal with China counterpart

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement to manage sourcing, purchasing and supplier relationships for a manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Finance and Operations, with a strong focus on cost management, supplier performance and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and supplier selection, including China-based suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial agreements
• Manage Purchase Orders, purchasing activities and order fulfilment
• Monitor supplier pricing, quality, delivery and performance
• Coordinate overseas purchasing, production progress and shipment schedules
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement risks
• Review procurement contracts, supplier agreements and purchasing documentation
• Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate closely with Production and Warehouse
• Prepare procurement reports, spending analysis and supplier performance reports
• Support and guide junior procurement team members where required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or related field
• 3–10 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience dealing with China suppliers / overseas purchasing is an advantage
• Mandarin speaking is required to communicate and negotiate with China counterparts
• Strong negotiation, analytical and supplier-management skills
• Good commercial awareness and cost-management ability
• Experience with ERP / purchasing systems and Microsoft Excel is an advantage
• Familiarity with import, shipping and international purchasing processes is a plus
• Independent, organised and able to manage multiple priorities

Working Hours

Monday – Friday

• Flexible clock-in between 8:00am – 10:00am
• At least 2 Saturdays on standby, WFH, when required for urgent supplier or production-related calls
