Who We Are Looking For

• The Experience: You possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, backed by at least eight (8) years of finance experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a managerial capacity.
• The Industry Edge: Experience handling construction accounts and project reporting is highly preferred.
• Technical Mastery: You have strong technical knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting. You are proficient in AutoCount and Microsoft Excel, and familiar with Google Workspace.
• The Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into simple, actionable terms for stakeholders. (Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage).
• The Mindset: You are highly meticulous, resourceful, and capable of working independently while fostering a collaborative team environment. Ability to start at short notice is a major plus!

and administration functions. This role drives financial strategy, treasury management, internal controls,

Your Mission (Core Responsibilities)

You will own the full spectrum of our financial operations:

• Leadership & Operations Management:
• Oversee and lead daily accounting and finance operations, supervising and mentoring the finance team.
• Review and approve day-to-day transactions, including payments, credit/debit notes, and sales invoicing.
• Conduct performance appraisals and facilitate staff skills development and training.
  
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely.
• Prepare management reports and present P&L performance to senior management.
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and projections to support strategic decision-making.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
• Manage overall cash flow, review daily bank balances, and allocate funds effectively for outgoing payments.
• Oversee trade line utilization and guide your team in preparing and submitting BA, LC, BG, and TR.
• Chair weekly AR collection meetings with the sales team to flag and resolve critical collection issues.
  
• Compliance, Tax & Payroll :
• Liaise closely with banks, auditors, the company secretary, and tax and government authorities.
• Prepare tax returns, consult with our tax agent on compliance, and oversee SST filings.
• Review month end payroll processing and ensure all statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) are correctly executed.
• Handle ad-hoc strategic projects as directed by the Managing Director.
