We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our logistics and freight forwarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating export shipments, liaising with customers and logistics partners, monitoring vessel schedules, and ensuring all shipping documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments with shipping lines, co-loaders, hauliers, shippers, consignees, and other relevant parties.
• Monitor shipment status, vessel schedules, cut-off times, ETA/ETD, and deadlines to ensure smooth and timely shipment arrangements.
• Coordinate and follow up on import and export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, Certificates of Origin (CO), permits, customs-related documents, and other relevant shipping documents, where applicable.
• Liaise closely with customers, shipping lines, hauliers, transporters, agents, and other service providers to coordinate shipment and delivery arrangements.
• Provide timely updates to customers on shipment status, vessel schedules, delivery arrangements, and other shipment-related matters, particularly for door-to-door shipments.
• Handle customer enquiries and follow up promptly on import and export shipment matters, including delays, documentation issues, and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to resolve operational and shipment-related issues.
• Ensure all shipment information, documentation, and system records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
• Follow up on shipment-related charges, documents, and outstanding matters to ensure timely completion of import and export shipments.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Responsible, committed, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Willing to take on additional responsibilities when required, including after-office-hours matters when necessary.
• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or customer service will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with export documentation and shipping procedures will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
