Role Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ). This position oversees daily warehouse operations, including organizing workflows, assigning tasks to team members, and monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and safety.

The role involves coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing material handling processes, and supervising inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels. The Warehouse Supervisor will also support equipment operation, such as forklifts, ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, and collaborate with other departments to meet service and delivery requirements.

Additional responsibilities include reporting on warehouse metrics, identifying process improvements, and contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, workload planning, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving, with experience in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments and related documentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in Material Handling, ensuring safe and efficient movement, storage, and staging of goods.
• Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control, including stock accuracy, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and other warehouse equipment, following all safety procedures and certifications where required.
• Relevant additional qualifications include experience in warehouse or logistics environments, knowledge of safety and compliance standards, and familiarity with warehouse management systems or basic computer applications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team, are highly beneficial.
• A relevant diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent work experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is preferred.
