Job Function
- Investigate customer complaints and returned products, verify defects, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure non-conforming products are properly identified, documented, and addressed with the relevant departments.
- Monitor product and process quality to ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective action reports.
- Monitor and update rejection control charts and daily rejection reports.
- Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other quality control activities.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and product inspections according to specifications.
- Operate and handle measuring and inspection equipment accurately.
- Collect, record, and maintain measurement data and inspection results in the relevant check sheets and reports.
- Provide quality-related training and guidance to QC Leaders and QC Inspectors.
- Assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Support customer visits, audits, and quality-related matters when required.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of automotive quality standards and customer requirements.
- Familiar with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, 5S, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, and PPAP.
- Experience in handling customer complaints, non-conformance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Able to perform visual and dimensional inspections and operate measuring equipment such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Able to analyze quality data, prepare NCR, rejection reports, quality reports, and corrective action reports.
- Good understanding of quality inspection methods, process control, and statistical techniques.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with production and other departments.
- Able to conduct training and provide guidance to QC Inspectors and QC Leaders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Willing to work overtime when required.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
