Job Overview
We are looking for an AML Analyst to support the review of financial activity and compliance-related data within a technology-driven environment. The role will work with internal teams to review alerts, analyse information, document findings, and support the continuous improvement of monitoring processes and compliance technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess transaction monitoring alerts and customer-related information.
• Analyse available data and supporting documentation to identify unusual activity or potential compliance concerns.
• Conduct customer and account reviews in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate case notes, review summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Escalate relevant cases to the appropriate internal team for further review.
• Maintain accurate records of investigations, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Support periodic customer reviews and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Work with technology and product teams to improve monitoring workflows and data quality.
• Assist with testing and reviewing system rules, alerts, and workflow enhancements.
• Keep up to date with relevant AML and compliance requirements applicable to the business.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and consistency of review activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, compliance operations, or financial crime-related work is preferred.
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfortable working with structured data and digital systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to review information objectively and maintain accurate documentation.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with compliance technology, monitoring platforms, or RegTech solutions will be an advantage.
