Job Responsibilities

o Involvement in all T&C activities, ranging from L1 to L5 levels.

o Attending T&C meetings and participating in script development.

o Conduct inspections and prepare Inspection Test Plan (ITP) checklists.

o Carry out risk assessments related to data center operations and safety compliance with project requirements

o Execute, direct, and coordinate the construction of engineering projects within the data center.

o Coordinate with the site team and vendors to meet T&C requirements.

o Prepare comprehensive reports and set up test instruments.

o Complete commissioning activities from Cx1 to Cx5 stages and Integrated System Testing (IST) as per the General Contractor (GC) master program.

o Liaise with all relevant statutory authorities to obtain necessary certificates and approvals.

o Complete all required forms and documentation for submissions and ensure the documentation meets the necessary standards for achieving T&C milestones.

o Evaluate and prepare technical specifications, engineering drawings, and calculations.

o Monitor and ensure that projects are executed within the stipulated schedule.

o Provide training to end-users and operators on data center systems and operations.

o Attend weekly site coordination meetings, commissioning (CX) meetings, and other relevant project discussions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Data Center Management, or a related field is typically required.
• Experience: Prior experience in data center construction, commissioning, and project management is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and conducting risk assessments.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and liaising with various stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating with external vendors and authorities.
• Problem Solving Skills: Address any issues that may impact project timelines.

This role is critical for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and commissioning of data center projects, requiring a strong technical background and excellent project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
