Job Description

Job Title: Steam Engineer

• To be all charge of steam boilers, ensuring efficient, safe operation and effective preventive maintenance of boilers.
• Maintain and operate all plant equipment in good and safe operation condition.
• Responsible for comparing and purchasing of tools, spare parts and other equipment needed.
• To be in charge of mechanical, repairs and maintenance of plants and machine reliability and minimum downtimes.
• Responsible for the facility equipment/ systems/ activities related to steam and gas.
• Ensure overall safety on boiler and boilerman.
• Ensure legal compliance on steam facilities and activities in line with DOSH (JKKP) and audit requirements.
• Able to troubleshoot and provide engineering supports and solutions on operations, preventive maintenance for steam related facilities.
• To perform any other task assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic.
• MUST HAVE Grade 2 Steam Engineer certificate issued by DOSH
• Required skill(s): preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and problem solving, Leadership and Mentoring.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Five years experience in a manufacturing environment or utilities-related field.
• Self-motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Working knowledge of safety, health, environmental standards, and requirements.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, energy management concepts, and theories, as well as supply and demand side strategies for efficiency improvement.
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and a team leader
• Possess own transport and valid driving license
• Willing to work in Pulau Indah, Selangor

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
