Our client is seeking a technically minded, hands-on data quality professional to take ownership of stewardship execution across a cloud-based data platform. The Role

Shape the future of data trust. As Lead Data Quality Steward, you will:

• Design and implement automated data quality rules, checks, and remediation workflows across governed datasets
• Maintain data catalogue hygiene, trust metadata, and certification status for priority datasets
• Analyse data patterns, anomalies, and recurring defects to uncover root causes and control gaps
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to embed quality controls directly into production pipelines
• Set domain-wide stewardship standards and guide consistent issue resolution across teams
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to reduce manual triage while preserving auditability

What We're Looking For

You go beyond governance - you build solutions. To be considered, you will need:

• 5-9+ years in data quality, stewardship, data governance, or adjacent data engineering
• Hands-on capability with Snowflake SQL and Python for profiling, rule implementation, and exception analysis
• Proven experience with DQ frameworks, scorecards, certification workflows, or metadata/catalogue processes
• Sound understanding of cloud data platforms - Snowflake, Airflow, Airbyte, and AWS
• The ability to translate business needs into technical controls and communicate clearly across functions
• An engineering-first mindset: you implement solutions, not just define them
