Job Responsibilities
1. Equipment Operation & Production Execution
- Operate, monitor, and control production machinery and equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Start up, adjust, and shut down equipment safely and efficiently at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products, ensuring continuous production flow.
- Monitor production parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time) and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and output targets.
2. Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct regular in-process quality inspections using gauges, meters, and visual checks to ensure products meet specified dimensional and functional standards.
- Record inspection data and promptly report any deviations, non-conformances, or abnormal conditions to the shift supervisor.
- Segregate and label defective or non-conforming products according to company procedures.
3. Safety & 5S Compliance
- Strictly adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in compliance with 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) housekeeping standards.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards, near misses, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing filters or tooling on assigned equipment.
- Assist maintenance technicians with minor repairs and changeovers.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment alarms and error codes, and take corrective actions within authorized scope.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately complete production logs, shift reports, batch records, and downtime tracking sheets.
- Document material consumption, production output, and scrap rates in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or paper-based records.
- Communicate shift handover information clearly to the incoming operator regarding equipment status, production issues, and pending tasks.
6. Continuous Improvement & Teamwork
- Participate in daily team meetings and contribute suggestions for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with other operators, team leaders, and engineers to resolve production bottlenecks or quality issues.
- Train and mentor new operators on equipment operation, safety protocols, and work procedures as required.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
