Test Development Engineer – Memory ATE (Advantest V93000)

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Test Development Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in semiconductor test development for memory products. The successful candidate will participate in the development, debug, characterization, and production support of ATE test programs for SRAM and other memory devices using the Advantest V93000 (93K) platform.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ATE test program development, memory test methodologies, and production test optimization, along with strong analytical and debugging skills. Experience with embedded memories, memory BIST, or memory repair is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain production test programs on the Advantest V93000 (93K) platform.

• Develop and optimize functional, parametric, and characterization tests for SRAM and other memory devices.

• Implement and optimize memory test algorithms (e.g., March tests, checkerboard, walking patterns, retention and disturb tests).

• Perform device characterization, shmoo analysis, and margin testing across voltage, frequency, and temperature.

• Collaborate with Design, DFT, Product Engineering, Failure Analysis, and Manufacturing teams to resolve product and test issues.

• Develop automation scripts and utilities to improve engineering productivity and test efficiency.

• Document test methodologies, characterization results, and debug findings.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in semiconductor ATE test development.

• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 (93K) or comparable ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFLEX, J750).

• Experience developing and debugging ATE test programs using C/C++.

• Good understanding of SRAM or other semiconductor memory architectures and production test methodologies.

• Knowledge of common memory fault models and memory test algorithms.

• Experience with silicon debug, characterization, and production yield support.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
