JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers for materials and services.
• Support the purchasing team in preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and monitoring approval status.
• Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment status.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels and timely material availability.
• Assist in maintaining and updating supplier databases, purchasing records, and documentation.
• Support the evaluation of supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and service levels.
• Verify delivery documents and assist in matching invoices with goods received before submission to Finance.
• Assist in preparing purchasing and inventory reports, including supplier performance and cost analysis.
• Monitor inventory movement and support stock reconciliation activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality management requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or any related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of purchasing, inventory, or supply chain concepts would be an added advantage.
• Basic computer literacy

Job Type: Internship

Pay: From RM1,000.00 per month
