Electrical Technician | Basic up to RM 5,000 l 5.5 days | Kapar, Selangor

Position: Electrical Technician

Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-1pm
Salary Range: Basic RM4,000~RM5,000

Job Description
· Participate in the installation and acceptance of data center electrical system equipment (such as power distribution cabinets, UPS units, generators, transformers, busbars, and cables) to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
· Collaborate with equipment manufacturers on commissioning activities, including electrical functional testing, load testing, and protection system testing.
· Ensure there are no conflicts between the electrical system and other systems (such as HVAC, fire protection, and IT equipment) and that the setup meets overall operational requirements.
· Execute various electrical system tests—such as voltage, current, power factor, frequency, insulation resistance, and grounding resistance—in accordance with the test plan.
· Conduct critical performance tests, including UPS load testing, generator load testing, dual power source transfer testing, and busbar withstand voltage testing.
· Evaluate the stability of the power supply and distribution system under varying load conditions, record test data, and analyze the results.
· Identify and diagnose faults or anomalies in electrical equipment during testing, and provide technical analysis and solutions.
· Assist contractors and equipment suppliers with corrective actions to ensure electrical systems meet project delivery standards.
· Document fault analysis reports and propose improvements to enhance the reliability of the data center's power system.
· Provide electrical testing technical support in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients.
· Prepare detailed electrical test reports, including test methodologies, test data, records of issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
· Participate in project acceptance meetings to present test results to clients and relevant stakeholders, and provide technical clarifications.

Job Requirements
· Diploma holder
· Min 1 year relevant experience
· Proficient in office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AI.
· Prior experience as a documentation specialist for electromechanical installation projects is preferred.
· Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills, and teamwork capabilities are required to ensure the smooth execution of testing services and maintain client satisfaction.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
