Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop busbar layouts within specified timeframes, ensuring compliance with electrical and mechanical requirements.
• Work closely with Panel Designers to integrate busbar systems into full assemblies.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors to ensure proper installation and assembly of designed busbars.
• Identify and resolve technical drawing conflicts related to busbar design at an early stage.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to address and rectify discrepancies in drawings.
• Ensure quality and safety in all busbar designs, following industry standards and best practices.
• Drive standardization efforts to improve efficiency and consistency in busbar design.
• Continuously improve busbar designs and minimize variance to enhance product quality and reduce material costs.
• Conduct research to stay updated on advancements in busbar design.
• Perform ad hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design or related.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor), with hands-on experience in 3D modelling, assembly design, and 2D drafting.
• Fundamental knowledge of basic electrical principles, including busbar design, power distribution, wiring, and grounding, with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
