Location: GDB (Klang & Shah Alam)

Responsibilities:

• Support in the occupational safety and health; give technical consultancy and ensure legal compliance about prevention and awareness of occupational health and safety and accidents in all project areas.
• Coordinate and execute the elaboration of the programs related to prevention of health and safety risk and risk management, making follow-up of data for the elaboration of their implementation in the operational areas.
• Participate in the evaluation of actions and work methods executed in the area, according to the risk of each function with the aim to give trainings, proposing the necessary modifications to provide better comfort and safety.
• Support the work programs of the internal investigation of accident prevention and making follow-up of recommendation
• Support the investigation committees for accidents and nearly accidents where the causes will be determined and the possibilities to eliminate/neutralize these causes.
• Realize safety inspections in the project procedure, equipment’s, and work tools to achieve maximum safety and comfort in the realization of the work.
• Follow up and participate in the evaluation and testing of safety relevant equipment’s, analysing and proposing necessary amendments to maximize safety and comfort.
• Elaborate, evaluate, and support the areas in the elaboration of reports relative to accidents, researching data that will be helpful in the investigation and analysis of the accident to determine the causes, responsibilities and propose preventive and corrective actions.
• Provide technical support regarding occupational safety and the legal procedures as well as provide trainings and elaborate safety instructions.
• Plan, coordinate, program and realize health and safety unsafe acts, safety observation, inspections following the teams in the execution of their tasks, verifying the adequate execution of the instructions in regard to occupational health, safety, and hygiene.
• Support in the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan and review the plan periodically.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) by NIOSH.
• Based at project site.
• Experienced in HSE for above 3 years from the date of registration as yellow book holder.
• Registered with DOSH with a yellow book holder (Valid)
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Having knowledge in Microsoft office.

License/Certification:

• Yellow Book (Required)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
