About the role

We are seeking a talented Account Executive to join PMG Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. in our Kulai Johor office on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal position within our accounting department, where you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and delivering exceptional service to our diverse clientele. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships whilst providing comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting support to small to medium-sized practices. Your contributions will directly impact the financial health of our clients and the growth trajectory of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining accurate financial records for assigned client accounts

• Performing daily bookkeeping tasks including invoice processing, expense categorisation, and bank reconciliations

• Preparing financial statements and reports for clients in a timely manner

• Responding to client enquiries and providing accounting advice on financial matters

• Coordinating with clients to gather necessary documentation and financial information

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

• Identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues promptly

• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures

• Developing and maintaining positive client relationships through regular communication and professional service delivery

• Utilising accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or small practice accounting environments

• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial records

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively

• Professional approach to client confidentiality and data security

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies

• Willingness to learn and develop accounting skills further

• Preferred: Experience with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

• Preferred: Professional accounting qualifications or certifications (CAP, ACCA, or similar)
