Interested in working in financial services and keen to apply your analytical mindset? Excited about an opportunity to work in a global team where no two days are the same? Join Group Internal Audit (GIA) where you can explore UBS from the inside and grow your skills in a global environment.
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 GIA Graduate Talent Program.
You’ll get to:
identify and assess risks in different areas of the firm, gaining an understanding of how we collectively manage and mitigate risk
test key controls by conducting interviews, reviewing processes and products, and examining how decisions and transactions flow in practice
evaluate whether controls are effective, applying analytical thinking and learning from experienced auditors to assess processes operate as intended
understand the governance and control frameworks that help prevent errors, protect clients, and support the firm’s strategic goals.
Your team
You’ll be part of Group Internal Audit, an independent function that safeguards and strengthens our firm. Working with teams that blend business knowledge, subject matter expertise and capabilities in data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), you’ll assess how the firm’s governance, processes and controls operate. You’ll identify opportunities to enhance risk management and help drive improvements that advance our strategic goals.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
will graduate by June 2027, with less than two years of work experience
can explain ideas clearly, whether it’s summarising findings, asking good questions, or sharing your thoughts in a way others understand
adapts easily to changing priorities and remains organised when allocated multiple tasks
acts with integrity, enjoys working with others, and shows curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn
We welcome applicants studying for a degree in any field, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry and how risks and controls are being managed. Initial practical experience in audit, risk, compliance, or data analysis is an advantage – but curiosity and the ability to think analytically are what matter most. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.
Your program
Our Graduate Talent Program is 24 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge about consulting. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
